i frequently attend classical music concerts, and i like the good seats but since those cost a lot more than the regular tickets, i notice the ushers always look extra hard at my phone screen or even take my phone out of my hand to make sure my ticket is valid. i don't see them doing that to everyone else. like ma'am i promise i can afford to sit in the balcony. so tired of racists.

Whether u r white or black Buddhism is for all who wanted to know the ultimate truth. The only precondition is that u must be free from any ....ism imposed on your mind. Yes your mind must be empty to see the Buddha.

Unlike Christianity or Islam, Buddhism has ALWAYS opposed slavery, castes, and racial discrimination from the very beggining. Christians and Muslims often try to dismiss passages of their holy books which condone slavery and teach how to deal with slaves by appealing to "historical context". There is NO context that justifies slavery. It was as wrong then as it is now. The Buddha's teachings have always been right, not because of his authority, but because their principles have stood the test of time and can be verified and confirmed by logic, practical experience and meditation.

Y'all talk about there being no god in Buddhism, but there's so much to unpack here. If you're gonna talk about the Lotus Sutra, you're gonna talk about how the Buddha has always and will always be here for all sentient beings. The Mahayana knows the third body, the Dharmakaya, and that the Buddha is "devatideva" or "God of gods." If Dharmakaya is our true nature, our true self, then that means that the LORD is inside each and everyone one of us. All of our brothers and all of our sisters are divine because the divine is in our soul, the divine IS our soul, and that is God. That is Buddha. That is waking up to Freedom. An an extra, you'll see that the Gohonzon has many names written, all friends and guardians of the holy Dharma. Among them is Shakra devanam Indra, king of heaven. In many instances, he is depicted in Asian art as dark: often blue or green, and sometimes even Black. It's a remarkable point of in history that the king of the gods himself is understood in this way.

These people obviously do not get the idea of adoption. Its not about extended family or freinds that takes you in. Its about taking in a total strager. Statistically, its caucasian people that adopt the most, but they mosstly want a white child to adopt, so that there are no questions and it can continue the family line.

To be fair in history the American blacks who believe in god, were pretty much forced to worship jesus way back then they were brought over from Africa and the Carribbeans due to their gods and belief's viewed as heracy, same when missionaries went over to to said places and used their words and ways to convert them over, thus over time the faith just became part of their way, its the same when the spanish conquistadors came over to south america and north America they converted or force converted the insidious tribes to their catholism thus why the latin community is mostly Catholic, if you wanna be an atheist be an atheist if you wanna believe in a god or god's go for it but they're people of faith and people of secular and we all dont have to follow the same thing, lets mot hate or debate eachother about it just choose what we choose withkut condemning someone for their choice.

I am gay, and I live in Taiwan. Christianity has treated black folk and LGBTQ people horrendously. I have never understood why black Americans and black Africans are so drawn to the very religion that abused (and abuses) them. To me, Buddhism seems the perfect religion for people that have been abused by the Abrahamic faiths.

A while back, a nurse that I know asked me to go camping with her and her boyfriend. At first I said I would give it a try. Then I was asking her a series of questions. She explained to me that there is no bathroom, and we had to use it in the woods. Nothing but woods. I responded hell no I'm not going. What if something bite my woo-hah while I'm doing my business? "Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it. Do not believe in anything simply because it is spoken and rumored by many. Do not believe in anything simply because it is found written in your religious books. Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachers and elders. Do not believe in traditions because they have been handed down for many generations. But after observation and analysis, when you find that anything agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it" Nomo buddhaya

But it is a kind of interesting thing to me that oh OK no open this is the other thing I know about the damn heart not having he’ll call reggae killed Buddhist is that is the Japanese school is the Japanese console? I think there is that they’re sort of like this clear break between the Mahayana school because between Mahayana school and the Nahayo Ricky kills like several countries do you have like all the southeast the Mahayana Southeast philosophies that went through India Which which was the yoga yoga practice into the cold Illini goals by the way into the Confucius in the confusion and sister yeah basically home extinguish the Uber because you have a do you have a computer system you have a sister, the Tibetan system, which is like a Guillaume Rick Monk society. Can you push ECU like it’s like you gotta push all where is the connection between pushing all from the Mahayana school all the way to as far east does Japan and coming into the black community?

For myself, I’ve explored the end of the idea that a lot of Buddhist don’t think they are Buddhist is that the thing do them meditation renewal bother they know about the reincarnation mantras they know about the pickle Delenia, but they also teach about the animism and the connection to the spiritual connection to the physical world so a lot of just like a lot of African Buddhist are enemas Kaladi Southeast Asian Buddhist are Adams there a lot of Southeast Asian foods that are Islam so at least from what I understand
